The debut release from Works Records comes from Half-time // Slow/fast and label founders DJ Jonco & Goldman. Following their successful run of club nights at Cosies; bringing in a wide range of 160 artists, New Era EP showcases their Chicago Footwork & Juke influences, whilst also nodding towards 90s Jungle and Hardcore.

The title track, New Era, combines triplet kicks with a hazy melody and a deep sub to compelling effect. Glow Of Love is a dancefloor banger with driving percs and a familiar bassline. Who's it Gonna Be combines 80s slow jams and jungle breaks with halftime 808 drums, and Distant Lover captures the overall melancholic mood of the EP, with the thought of summer parties still distant away.
